Shutdown
What ho one and all,
I am surprised how long my W7 install takes to shutdown.
I have an exe file in the Sys32 folder, with shortcut on the desktop; the contents of which are: shutdown.exe /s /t 00
However, I see when searching how to speed up shutdown, that shutdown.exe -s -t 00-f or shutdown /f /s /t 0
What is the difference between these files?
Thanks and toodle pip

Did the long shutdown start before or after you added your "stuff?"
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

FYI - you can go to a CMD Prompt and type:
shutdown /? |more
and see ALL of the command options.
And or go to a site like this and see them:

Thanks. That is a great link to shutdown switches.
Seems there is no real difference between the variations, six of one, or two threes of the other!
Will leave as is.
