REDUNDANCY CHECK PROBLEM?
I have this laptop hard drive that I am trying to format. Under disk manager, it shows as unknown and not initialized . So when I try to initialize it, I get this message: Data Error (cyclic Redundancy Check) I've tried a number of ways according to website articles, but nothing works. Is there any way to do this that I might not be aware of.
I have also used DiskPart under CMD & it will show the disk but thats all. Yet when I click Properties under disk management, it says : this device is working properly..
Being Unallocated with no volume, its dead ?
Where there's a will, there's a way
