[RESOLVED] Viewing E-mail attachments
Here we go again!!!!
If you have been following my saga, you may recall that I am updating my os by going with the most recent MS no-longer-updating systems.
So W7 and a version of OE6 that is not MS supported but 95% does what is says on the box.
When I receive an incoming e-mail with doc, xls or pdf attachment, the default program opens. However, a jpg gives a message that no supported program is installed and I should either install one or amend the file association in Default Programs.
I have MS Paint installed and that opens jpgs when directly selected. And in Default Programs, Paint is set as the Default program.
Is there a work-around, or reg hack to allow OE6 to open jpgs? I know I can save them and then open, but that is not always the necessary requirement for a quick view before deleting.
Thanks and toodle pip

Try a different default app and see what happens.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

For Windows 7, Windows Photo Viewer would normally be the default program for .jpg files.
