Resolved [RESOLVED] What's wrong with this?

    Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.18363.1256]
    (c) 2019 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

    C:\Users\rev>cd \ubcd-extracted\ubcd\tools\win32\ubcd2usb
The system cannot find the path specified.

    C:\Users\rev>ubcd2usb c:\ubcd-extracted k: /f
'ubcd2usb' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
    operable program or batch file.

    C:\Users\rev>

The above is from the UBCD web page but obviously I haven't done something I should have done.

    "C:\Users\rev>cd \ubcd-extracted\ubcd\tools\win32\ubcd2usb"

That sounds like a reg problem."
I don't know what you have done thus far but it looks like the reg is pointing the wrong way.
If you are comfy with getting around the reg? I can help.
Either that or attempt to extract to c directly within a folder and try from there.

I've had to do this and not from ubcd but others.

Guessing your trying fake dos or a powershell.

UBCD is a BOOT disc. You aren't supposed to be running commands from command prompt.

you can run ubcd2usb from a command. I know this. I extract and simply run from a command. Most of the time if I'm doing a usb? I don't bother with a boot usb or cd. I simply extract the needed files and create. Then you would boot from the usb. It's only to copy the needed files and then you need to pass the correct files over. Been doing it for a long time.

I just figured he was trying to do it the same way considering what I saw.

Another option is almost the same but try win4usb instead (or ubcd4win). Wow that's old but no OS stated. Def looks like 10 so ubcd2usb is the correct file

Is this coming on boot from a usb stick?
Kinda of not enough for me to go on.

I always extract and only use what I need.
    That's why I thought a reg misdirect

I got that code and those instructions from the UBCD site. I've tried several times to use this disk but always been thwarted by something that doesn't work or not knowing how to use it.

Thanks, I didn't even know you could extract it and use it from there. Thanks for the offer to help but the reason for needing the disk has gone - I might take you up on it next time.
