Display Properties
What ho one and all,
Only X years behind the W7 learning curve, but now it is becoming steeper.
With XP, I can access the Display Properties / Advanced / Appearance pretty easily. Obviously, the wizards at MS have made things in W7 and 8 so much easier and better and user friendly, that now I cannot find it. Although that is not strictly true, as by random clicking, I have, but now it is eluding me.
Help; where is it?

This is of course, an XP screen-shot.

Right click an open space on your desktop and choose "personalize" Then on the window that opens you'll get a number of options on the left hand side to change various visual, windows and desktop options.
VirtualDr email notices are not working.
Check back regularly for responses.

And don't be bashful - be bold - be brave and click on things
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

Agreed, but it is too easy to make changes that one does to like and almost impossible to remember the previous setting that one did like.
As for your wear a mask by-line, here in the UK, we are being told to wear a mask to protect ourselves and the result is considerable complacency. My wife thinks this is the wrong message; the message should be, consider that everyone has the virus. Them most would wear a mask to avoid getting it.
