Google warning
What ho one and all,
I am very much a 'smartphone' rookie, having had one for only a few months. It is a Samsung J5 and I really only use it for phone calls and some (I want to remember that) photos. Occasionally use Google for something trivial but I don't use my phone to access the internet.
But I did, and now when I power-up, there is s Google message asking 'Did you sign in? New device accessed your account.' It was probably me signing in, but I have no idea how to delete this message.
Grateful for a 'this is how yo do it' assistance.
Thanks and toodle pip

Did you try simply clicking the "Yes it was me"|"Okay" (or similar)?

You may need to scroll down the page for that click/option.
VirtualDr email notices are not working.

Thanks for your replies. Following the above suggestions, I have now hopefully, closed the message. As I said, Smartphone rookie!
The message appears when I hit the start button, and I have been entering my pw, by which time, the message is not longer visible. But following above, I touched the small arrow on the Google message first, that took me to the pw screen and once logged on to the phone, the Google web message appeared with the option, Yes it was me!
Thanks, stay safe and toodle pip
