[RESOLVED] Program Stops While Installing
Windows XP Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 233,v.6419
Intel core9TM)2 duo CPU
E8400 @3.00GH
2.99 GHz 3.46 GB RAM
I am trying to reinstall a program called Cubase VST/32 version 5. it had been working before. So when I run the installation C D I get to a point with a screen that says current file skipped file: C:\WINDOWS\Fonts\chordfont40.ttf and it stops. Then there is a screen that says error report. Microsoft doesn't care since it is XP C:\DOCUM~1\Dean\LOCAL~1\temp\WERecb6.dir00\A Autorun.exe.mdmp.
The program is a Steinberg music program which is not supported any more by them. If you don't want to do anything with this I will completely understand. But if it is something simple I would appreciate help. let me know if you need more info.
Thanks

You could check the Fonts to see if chordfont40.ttf is there already. It probably is.
Post a screen capture of the actual error message.

jdc2000 you have the magic touch!
After trying 5 or 6 times with no luck last night. This evening I tried it one more time to get a screen shot and it loaded the program. What can I say?
Thank you very much.
