[RESOLVED] Can't Save Page
I'm using Firefox with Windows 10 - haven't changed anything lately, but for some reason I can no longer save a page.
Always did it under "edit" so tried under "menu" as Firefox suggests. Just not working.
What's my problem? Thanks.

Do you get the Save Page dialog? If yes, what happens? Can you select any of the Save As format options?
Possibly useful link:

Can you select the Print option, and do a Save As .pdf from there?
What version of Firefox are you using?

No, I don't get an option to save. No response at all.
Version 81.0.1
I read that support page previously, didn't solve my situation.

If you get no dialog box, then it looks like your Firefox version has a problem.
You could try a previous version, or a portable version.

Ok, thanks. I just noticed that it only refuses to save on certain pages.
If I go to, as an example the Yahoo search page or a picture, and try to save it the dialog box comes up as usual. If I'm trying to save a utility bill it won't work.

While you are viewing the page, try pressing [Ctrl][S] to save, or [Ctrl][P] to print (and then save to a PDF).

Ctrl + P works but Ctrl +S would not.
Seems odd.

Some of the pages may have code to prevent saving from working. The work-around is to print to a .pdf file, of copy and paste the data into Word or Wordpad, then save it.

Thank you.
Copying saves one page at a time only and some are 10 pages long.
The sites I can't save now worked ok up until recently.
I'll try taking Firefox out and reinstalling it.

If you see the same problem on the same sites when using a different browser, it would lead me to believe those sites must somehow be attempting to keep people from recording their pages.

Took Firefox out and reinstalled, took a shut down but I think it's all working again now.
Thanks for all the replies. Missed this site when it was off for a while.
