How Do I Uninstall OneDrive? So that I can then Reinstall it.

I have been having trouble with OneDrive. I contacted a OneDrive Tech through the Microsoft Support. We went through many months of diagnostics and kept elevating the support to higher ups. As this went on they kept having me do the same steps repeatedly. Very frustrating. Eventually they had me download a OneDrive installer file. I ran the installer and before it could install it had to uninstall the existing OneDrive. No surprise so I did it. Then the installer still will not run. It reports that it cannot run until the previous version is uninstalled.

There is OneDrive listed in my Control Panel / Programs. If I click on it and choose Uninstall I get the permission popup and accept it. Then I get a spinning circle for a short time then nothing. I can restart and OneDrive is still listed in Programs. Apparently something is broken in the uninstaller.

The Microsoft support has quit replying to my repeated attempts to continue their support. I'm at the point where that is OK, it was a huge waste of time between their attempts and waiting for replies.

So anybody know how I can uninstall OneDrive?

Chances are you will end up reinstalling Windows. I am betting none of the following links info will actually work on your system, but you can check them out:

Thank you, jdc2000. That was my guess. I was hoping that there was a better/easier route. Reinstalling Windows sounds easy, but I have enough "stuff" on my computer that I would rather not do that.

    I'll check out the links.

Seems like there should be some way to do it through regedit. But I have no idea how.
