Back in the Saddle Again
VirtualDr and three sister sites were sold a couple of years ago... They have since been sold again to TechnologyAdvice. TA purchased nine other sister sites several months ago...
These are the three other sister sites:

I'm am glad to see VirtualDr back again.
This site and those of you who have assisted me in the past have been a great help to me and it is very much appreciated.
I felt left out in the dark a while back when I could not log in and wondered what had happened. I thought there was a problem on my end. I finally googled the issue and found out it was "out of commission" or sort of speaking.
Just glad to see it back again

Totally, totally agree with you. Great to see it back, up and running.
Had a similar issue with another forum that I am active in, TalkFord, but that has also now been resolved.

I thought that the same thing that happened to Hardware Central last year was happening to Virtualdr.

Glussier - the same thing did happen.... The difference being that Hardware Central was purchased for it's Domain Name. The new owners of VirtualDr never did anything with the site so they sold it.... And here we are with an owner that wants to keep the site alive and well.

Yep, Virtualdr users were lucky that it ended that way.
