Resolved [RESOLVED] Searching and sorting in Windows 10 - Outlook 2016

In my previous old Outlook (when I had Windows 7), I was able to do a search of emails and from the search result, I could select multiple messages and drag and drop them into various folders.

It seems like I cannot do it anymore. I am not sure if it is a Windows 10 thing, or an Outlook 2016 thing, or a "user" thing.

So, is it a feature that is still available or removed?
If it is still available, what should I do to execute that?

    Thanks.

That should still work. What happens when you try it?

Nothing happens. The messages in the "search" stay there, and nothing ends up in the destination folder.

OK I was going to record a video showing how it behaved, but then, i just saw that one setting of the search was whether to search in the current folder or all, and it was set to all. I guess it meant that even once the messages were moved to the other folder, they would still appear in the search that shows "all" the folders.

OK so that is solved. I guess it is just a different "behavior" that I was unaware of and it threw me off.

    I feel silly now!
