m onitor will not turn on for a wake up call ..

MY new HP 6300 windows 10 vs 1903.18362 has a peculiar problem.
When I shutdown the PC… I have the following happen:

When I restart the PC -Monitor comes on by itself .. HP2011 .. which is good ..

But If I put the pc to sleep and later hit a key to wake up.. the PC itself will come up / turn on with lights etc but no screen ( hp2011x ) ..

black - dark - red light instead of green/blue ….

I have to manually push the power button on the monitor to turn on .
(and then I see the new Bing wallpaper, which means the PC was already up and running )

Therefore monitor with current/ and or/ no updates available installed ( I have the cd disc too ) will only turn on when I power up the PC … but not turn on during a waking up.. Why ?

I have checked all the power displays In settings ….. and either can’t figure on the one to chose or have the current one I need to have the monitor turn on when woken up .. either way the monitor will not wake up … its as if the windows 10 software during the wake up phase uses a differant route than actual boot up from cold .. therefore no ''commands'' to the monitor of power.. looking for a good registry hack ..

    Help Please !

Unfortunately, this has been an issue with Sleep mode for many years and many versions of Windows. There are lots of complaints and possible fixes, some of which are linked to below. No guarantee that any of them will fix the issue however.
