Office 2019 on Windows 10 - Open .doc file

If anyone has Windows 10 with Office 2019, have you had any issues opening .doc (Word 97-2003) document files using Office 2019? A sample .doc file document is attached to this post to test with.

Note: The attached sample .doc file does NOT contain any macros, just the word Test.

Please post the results if you can test Opening (or Saving as .doc and then Opening) any .doc file.

    Thanks.

Compatibility mode should not be needed for a document that only has the word Test in it. Microsoft must have made a change, as the document and others now open just fine on Office 365 Word 2016 64 bit.
