SOUND PROBLEM
I bought an HP V244a MONITOR. It has built in speakers. My problem is the sound on say a utube video is very soft and when I try to play a CD disk it is to soft to hear. It this normal
or do I have a defective Monitor.

LCD monitors have very thin speakers, so they aren't going to be that loud. That's the same reason a lot of people get soundbars for their HDTVs.
What kind of connection are you using? Did you check the audio settings? What OS are you using?

I read over the users guide and discovered where the menu was. The volume was set at 50% and I changed it to 100% The speakers work ok now. Just loud enough to use.
