    Resolved [RESOLVED] Windows Updates

Were there no important Windows Updates in June?
I show only Definitions for MS Security Essentials.
Running Win 7 SP1 and IE 11. (Got Updates in May)

What I first saw when I opened Windows Update was a nag to "get started on" installing Win 10. I was also told there were no Windows Updates. I since have noticed there was a link to "Show all available Updates". I clicked that and after some time was offered what seemed like the normal amount of Updates. Two were associated with Win 10 and I hid those. I clicked the boxes for all the rest and then OK. I thought I was ready to install the chosen updates. However, I find no button to download and install the checked updates. The normal box at the top was still only to "Get started" with Win 10.
Do I have to install all the Updates manually or is there some button I am overlooking?

    Remember, I am running Win 7 SP1 IE11

It would seem MS is now holding normal monthly Updates hostage until you install Win 10.

    Midnyte--
I just installed GWX Control Panel and set it up (hopefully correctly) to bar Win 10.
    Thanks.

I rebooted and opened Windows Update. The Win 10 nag had been replaced by the normal Windows Update box and I am now running the Updates.
(I earlier had installed some Registry changes to bar Win 10 and they seem to have been working for well over six months.)

    Again thanks.

Nice. I've run that a few times, just to make sure the Win10 blocking was still in place.
