    Getting my wallpaper to stick

For years I had the same wallpaper then I decided to change it. Now it keeps rotating pulling up themes I didn't know I had. I would like it to stick again.

Did you manually set a wallpaper again? Just Right-click on the image file and click Set as Desktop Background

Did you check Personalize in the Display Settings?

Right-click on the Desktop and click Personalize
Click on Desktop Background at the bottom
What is your Picture Location set to? If it is set to Windows Desktop Backgrounds, that's why you'd get a rotation.
You can click "Clear all" to uncheck all the pictures. And then you can choose the one you want.
Notice when you click "Clear all", the "Change picture every" field gets grayed out

Did not work; when I got to Personalize then there are 2 themes whereas before there was only one, and it's switched to the other one. I'm stuck.

Why don't you just delete the wrong one?

You can have multiple themes. Not sure why it would just switch on its own. You're sure it's the theme switching and not just the wallpaper?

Sigh. Ya that's probably it. You should lead with that next time.
