HP Compaq 6200 Pro SFF and SSD options
Hi all. I was reviewing the specifications documentation for the HP Compaq 6200 Pro SFF (link below) and specifically I was looking at the SSD options. It shows that it supports 80GB, 120GB, and 160GB HP SSD's. What I'm wondering is if there's something about the hardware that would keep it from being able to use a SSD larger than 120GB? Any ideas?

From what I can tell, that is just stating the options offered by HP, not physical limits. If it can support a 1TB hard drive, it should support SSDs larger than 256GB.

It will support larger SSD drives, but as spendy as they are not enough folks buy them. So they do not offer them.
Check the prices
