Thanks for the articlle. Ya gotta be careful. I know many people who install lots of apps from any old place without a second thought just to try it out... games, shopping helpers, music, movie apps etc etc.
VirtualDr email notices are not working.
Check back regularly for responses.

After several years of Android, I recently went Apple. It's not perfect, and I miss some Android features, but security/bug patch-wise, Apple does a better job. And that was what motivated me in the end...

The article specifically mentions third-party apps stores. Those are inherently insecure, so this shouldn't be a surprise.
