[RESOLVED] UBCD5 Questions
Midknyte, I notice in your posts or responses, you end with Ultimate Boot CD5.
Excuse one not up to speed with the latest "buzz" expressions. (I started in computers when they used 12AU7 vacuum tubes and encapsulated relays).
But, when, how, or why would I use UBCD5?
Is it primarily used when downloading an ISO file? I "googled" the expression and still can't still can't fully understand it.
Sorry, to sound so stupid - maybe it's just a mental block.

Their website
http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/
were all the programs on the disk are listed.
It is a great troubleshooting tool.
Hope this information helps.

I'm going to change your thread title to UBCD5 questions.
The link to UBCD5 is in my signature. I don't manually add it to every post.
UBCD5 is basically a collection of utilities to diagnose problems with your system. I have no personal relation to the project. I just feel that it is an excellent tool.
You could download each tool individually and create a boot disc also. UBCD5 is like having a Swiss Army knife instead of carrying each individual tool separately.
