I had deleted & reinstalled chrome & so also adobe.
Still no success.
Is there any possibility of my system setting got changed?
Or actually download had taken place but not visible, how to find where it had been saved.

Can you view the PDF attachment while reading an email in your inbox?
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

Why aren't you running AV, especially on XP? That's just asking for trouble.

You say "all of a sudden". Try a System Restore to a date before this started.

I had already done it with NO Success.

Some previous pdf in the inbox, i had tried to read & was able to do it although the appearance was somewhat different.
But a particular party from whom i receive more frequently, i am Neither able to View,Read or Save to the system.( including their previous ones)
Whatever PDFS already saved in my system,i am able to open .
Why aren't you running AV
For want of Space, unable to download or run.

Might be a problem with Yahoo.
1) Can you view the PDF after forwarding it from Gmail back to Yahoo?
2) Can you view any other PDFs in Yahoo?

Interesting, sounds like Gmail is able to strip out whatever is causing the problem. Since I don't use Yahoo, I'm afraid I'm drawing a blank. Hopefully someone with some experience with this same scenario will be along soon with a solution, or at least an explanation.
