BSOD on router reboot
I rely entirely on a public wifi network that goes through my Wifi Ranger router.
I began noticing a pattern, i.e. BSOD each time I reboot the router to recapture a lost connection. It's connected via LAN cable to a Realtek PCIe family controller.
The question is what, if anything, can I do about this? The driver is up to date.
Thanks
Here are several BSOD info squibs:

BlueScreenView can read the minidump files and provide us with more info on what program is causing the BSODs.

It looks like you are getting Stop 0x7F, or Kernel_Mode_Trap, every time. That one is often caused by RAM problems, so try testing the memory, using MemTest86 and Windows Memory Diagnostic. Download UBCD and burn it to CD, it has all the memory testing utilities on it plus many more useful tools besides. All you have to do is to boot up with the disc in the drive, select the utility that you want to use, and it will run.

You may find these instructions helpful for burning the UBCD .iso file to disc:
How can I write (burn) ISO files to CD or DVD?

Definitely run a memory diag like SuperSparks suggested.
Are you running Zonealarm or another firewall app?

I use Zonealarm Extreme Security. I ran memtest 86 v.4.0, but I am clueless how to interpret what I saw and forgot to try to screen capture. I can try it again. I noted
that in the middle panel there was a Pass: 0 and Errors: 26 after running for six minutes. I await further instructions, o teachers.

There should be ZERO errors when running Memtest. If you have multiple sticks of ram, run Memtest on them individually. That way you can find which stick is bad.
Note that ZoneAlarm is also notorious for causing BSODs, but the first concern is your ram.

Windows Memory Diagnostic gives me a clean bill of health. Memtest 86 v.4 is a beta, fwiw.
I will be pricing some RAM, some good RAM. I've got generic cheap memory.

UBCD also has MemTest86+. Try that one instead. You should not get any errors at all. If you do, then chances are you have bad ram.

Indeed. One of those utilities will often find problems where the other one does not, so the fact that it passed WMD is neither here nor there really.
