    Non-Plug and Play Drivers

I have two items in device manager under Non-Plug and Play drivers that are grayed out and not in use. They are hc3ServiceName and FS_Rec. What were these drivers used for and is it OK to uninstall them? Windows 7 Pro 64 bit

"hotcore" belongs to the software HotBackup by Paragon Software Group.

    "fs_rec.sys" is part of Windows.

I really wouldn't worry about greyed out entries in Device Manager, as long as nothing is complaining and you have no yellow splats. It is by no means uncommon to have such entries - they are often simply for devices that are not currently connected, etc.
