Can't Boot with XP Pro and my new WD External Drive
Good Day,
I recently replaced my External Hard Drive for a bigger one: Western Digital Elements 1.5TB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive WDBAAU0015HBK-NESN
Since then, When the drive is connected to my PC. My PC cannot Boot! It stays on that screen where it says: Predd TAB for .... or DEL for setup.
Is there a configuration I have to do somewhere?
Thanks for your time...
Dan
Regards,
Dan

I never hook up my external hdds unless I am about to do back ups. Then use safely remote to disconnect them.
Lost to much stuff to chance goof ups to do anything else.
Disabling Boot from USB items in the BIOS might stop the hang up. But that stops some USB sticks I have setup for diagnostic work too, so I consider that a bad option.
