Resolved [RESOLVED] Is it safe to remove old security updates for Office XP?

I'm trying to make more space on my computer and see numerous security updates for Office XP (not talking about Windows updates).

Is it safe to remove the older ones via Control panel's Add or Remove Programs window?

    I use Windows XP Home, Office 2002, 736 RAM, pentium 4CPU, 1.60 ghz, 40 G HD. Thanks.

Life has problems, but there is hope:

No, you should not remove any security updates. If you do you will only end up being nagged to reinstall them anyway.

CompCues--You can delete all the files with names like $NtUninstallKB123456$ in C:\Windows, if you are sure you do not want to uninstall the Update.
