Hotspot Shield related Blue Screen of Death
I am using Windows XP Professional Edition Sp2 on a Core2Duo 2.53 Ghz Machine with 2 Gigs of RAM. I am running the latest free version of Avast Antivirus updated daily
I have been using a software called Hotspot Shield for viewing Youtube and other streaming media content normally not available in my country but for the last few days whenever I start the Hotspot Shied Program, it gives me a blue screen of death with the following messages. I have tried uninstalling the program but even during uninstallation it gives the same blue screen of death with same messages and hence I cant unistall it.
The message is as under
Stop: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0xA86A9A6A, 0xa78AC8D0, 0x00000000)
aswsp.sys- Address A86A9A6A base at A8691000 datestamp 4be328e2
Beginning dump of Physical Memory
I have to restart the computer to get rid of this blue screen
Can anyone help as why is this occuring and whats the remedy

Stop 0x8E is often caused by buggy drivers. Try booting into Safe mode and then uninstalling the app.

In that case, try testing the memory, using MemTest86 and Windows Memory Diagnostic. Download UBCD and burn it to CD, it has all the memory testing utilities on it plus many more useful tools besides. All you have to do is to boot up with the disc in the drive, select the utility that you want to use, and it will run.
Ultimate Boot CD

I am using the Windows 7 Hope premium i installed the HSS lates version just a week ago.
Everything works perfectly but only when my wifi disconnect or when i turn the Wifi adapter off (while HSS is Connected) my Computer goes on to TheBlue screen....and this happens only when the above is done. So i have no answer to what is going on and i require a serious step or solution to this!
Thank You

Your country has figured out how to keep you from using Hotspot Shield?
