exporting iPod to iTunes library on a PC?

Hi all,

My brother has his iPod with all his many gigabytes of music stored on it. His computer (PC) crashed and was rebuilt and he subsequently lost his iTunes music folder. Apart from the time of reloading all his music collection back up into iTunes, it has been a slight hindrance. His issue is, on his iPod, he has some music files to which he doesn’t have the original copies (1960’s music) but they are still on the iPod. Is there a way that he can export/transpose these back into his iTunes library?

I use an older version of this: http://www.wideanglesoftware.com/touchcopy/

I normally use that to backup my ipod, you shouldn't have a problem using it to backup the music he needs and then import back into the itunes library.
