    wireless headsets

I require a wireless headset/phone for using with my Dragon 10 dictation software, budget £50-£100-ish. Soundcard is SoundBlaster X-Fi Extreme. Suggestions, please? Just bought a crappy Chinese thing off Ebay - awful!!

    Many thanks in anticipation

A touch over your budget, but if you can stretch to them, these are the ones I would go for:

Sorryif I'm missing something (I usually do!), but these do not seem to have a microphone attachment. I have to dictate my text into various programmes, as well as using voice commands to operate the computer, as I hv Parkinsons - which really slows the typing! (Incidentally, I've just realised that 'slows up' is semantically equal to 'slows down' - interesting, that!).

But I digress - but just to say I need a microphone attachment!

    thanks for yr reply
    best regards

    Dear Train,

Many thanks for your suggestions, your help is much appreciated. But could you kindly go one step further, and identify which of these is wireless? I really can't have more trailing wires around the place, as I never really got into bad trips moved! I intend to dictate and listen wirelessly, but certainly not from 50 feet in the garden!

    Best regards,

    Lyndon

    Oops, apologies for that

These look like a good set, and although I've never tried Creative headphones myself, I like everything of theirs that I have bought

I used to have a wireless pair of phones a few years ago, and rechargeable batteries worked fine. So far as I know you can use Ni-MH batteries in pretty much all wireless phones/headsets.
