Intel Express 10/100 Fast Ethernet Switch help

    hello everyone

i hope i can revive this post or this thread ..

i really wanted a big hand ... it just happened that i now work as an IT support in a certain organization and i dunno if i'm lucky or what, but i have this unit Intel Express 10/100 Fast Ethernet Switch.

kindly guide how to access the said CONSOLE port which has a tag 9600-8-N-1.

i want also to fabricate my own DB9 female-female cable connector but i don't have any idea what are the pin-outs

hoping kind hearted individual can assist me in my predicament.

    thanks,

    cheers!

    Hi anggwaponi. Welcome to VirtualDr.
I have removed your post and created a thread just for you. The other thread was a few years old and those people haven't been to this site in a long time. This way you'll get your own help. Someone will be along soon to help you.

Well for the pinout, scroll down a tad.

Might want to check that full article as they do list a bunch of pinouts that might help later.

    hello 104456,

    and yes!

those link that u verify are mine. in fact, i'm almost lossing hope now that i can't manage to access the Intel Express 10/100 Fast Ethernet Switch

i can't find any manual either softcopy or harcopy ... their was a link also related to Intel Express 10/100 Fast Ethernet Switch but the manual it gives doesn't mentioned anything how to reset if ever the username and password has been forgotten

i guess theirs nothing wrong if i'm forum shopping, right

as much as possible, i should gather the best possible way to solve my dilemma. otherwise, it will still be me who will suffer in the end if ever i can't find any answer to my inquiry.

nevertheless, i'm really thankful that lots are sharing their expertise specially to u 104456, as well, to SpywareDr.

so once again, hoping to be assisted

    cheers!

And our dilemma is, if we teach you how to hack a ES101TX in this public forum, we may well be teaching someone how to hack our own ES101TX-type equipment.

hello again SpywareDr and a pleasant day as well

i didn't realized that u still have that equipment too

actually, i only want to access my unit and i humbly ask that perhaps u can send the procedures or step-by-step on how to manipulate the stuff either thru PM or email me personally

its just that this piece of device is still operational which i guess you'll also agree with me that it will not be a good idea to keep it in storage.

i humbly ask yur assistance to help me to solve if not give me some hints how to do it.

    cheers!
