[RESOLVED] 256-bit Color
About a year ago, I accidentally wiped Windows 95 off my Compaq Presario 7240. With your help and advice, I was able to get it up and running again, even with Microsoft Office intact. However, the CD-ROM drive will not run any disks with more than 16-bit color. When I go into Properties, all I have is the 16-bit color in the Settings section. Exactly what do I need to download or buy in order to insert the 256-bit color into my operating system?
Thanks,
prov
