Except (and I hate to spoil your fun with the facts)
1) It will happen again in all metric countries (the ones that write their dates the right way around ) in June:
02:03:04 05/06/07 (5th June)
2) It's happend twice (ok 4 times) before in 07AD and 1007 AD. It will happen again in the year 3007, 4007 etc etc
02:03:04 05/06/(30)07
3) The only time it REALLY happened was in the year 7 AD. You just happen to conveniently be dropping the 2000 off the year.

It's happened a lot more than that. 1907 would've also seen the year written as 07 using current conventions, as will 2107.

Right you are - twice every century = 40 times so far.

That's alright, it's the only one you'll see in your lifetime.
The big question of course is whether it's any more or less special than 03:04:05 06/07/08...

I ignored my foresight by not removing the reference to "never" because there are always those who will try to disprove the intended facts as stated. And there are others who will invariably find the correct info. And since he and I live in the U.S., it went without saying that we were referring to our most widely used method of capturing such info. And this is the only time that I will see this in my lifetime, I hope

Sorry buf, didn't mean to sound like I was trying to embarrass you. In fact the correction of my correction our Aussie friend had to make embarrassed me

Smurfy, apology not needed but thanks just the same. I am not embarrassed in the least. Perhaps it is I who should offer up an apology for having phrased my reply as I did. When I make a mistake, I would prefer those good folks correct me--try not to make the same mistake twice though this time, with your link to the former, I did
I often say that "those who don't make mistakes don't do anything".
EDIT: Now that I think of it, it was he who furnished the other statement about "it will never happen again". I either have to ignore any further sayings from him OR have a word with him!!
