USB mass storage
I attached a usb mass storage device, 40 gog wd notebook drive to a pc with vista home premium.
Drivers are installed and device raedy for use.
It come up in computer management, storage, disc management as disc 6 37.26 gb unallocated.
I cant find it anywhere else in the pc to save anyhing on.
Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-UD2H AM3 motherboard
16 GIG Ram,
AMD FX 8350, 8 core
2 x 1gig sata 3 ,,
1 X 24" wide screen moniter ,
2 x 17' secondary moniters
1 x 21" secondary moniter
Corsair Power
Corsair Hydro cooler H 60
1 x blueray burners
Windows 8.1 x 64 Professional
Professional DOS dummy.

You have to partition and format it first, before you can use it. Right-click on the unallocated space in Disk Management, and choose Create Partition, and follow the wizard from there. Once it is formatted it will show in Explo5rer in the normal way.
