Win32PSW.Bancos.ZC Virus Elimination
I (Zone Alarm Suite) recently found Win32PSW.Bancos.ZC virus file on my system. It was located in: C:/documentsandsettings/john mott/mydocs/wrar342.exe>default.sfx. Zone Alarm Suite stated in an alert report that "file repair failed". I tried several scans with ZAS and got the same results. I simply used Windows Explorer file management system in XP and directly deleted the file myself. It looks as though it is gone from my system and I have seen no ill effects on my Windows Operating System speed or any other programs. Is this an acceptable approach of eliminating this virus or am I delaying a time bomb? Thanks, in advance, for your help. I have been using Zone Alarm Suite for approximately 5 months and I have had no problems with any upgrades and file definitions. I am running Windows XP home edition with 3.0 Gig proc. speed, 2 Gig of Ram and 180M of hard disc drive and Zone Alarm Suite no 6.1.737.000
