slow internet[Solved]

hey... well my problem is that i have a 256k cable internet. up to a few days ago worked great. latley (since wht i do most is play online) when i play online games lag alot (cuz of me) i cant host games cuz i lag or drop players, downloadin didnt change much (havnt downloaded much latley) im not sure but i think my net browsin has slowed to.. please help me fix this so i can get back to own people in my games :P thx alot

Turn off the modem for 4 or 5 minutes to reset it.
