Converting to DVD
Hey, I basically wanted to know if its possible to convert the AVI, MPEG movies I download to my computer into a format which I could burn to a DVD-R and play on a DVD player. Does anyone know if this is at all possible? What software would I use and what format do I make it?
EDIT: I use Windows XP Pro

Here's another VRDR thread that offers some ideas on authoring DVDs...

VirtualDr email notices are not working.

My DVD player will play .avi and MPEG just fine. I burn them as data files. Might check to see if this is a viable option for you.
