    Web Page Dispaly problem

I keep getting the following error when using Internet Explorer 5.0 on Windows 3.1.

The messages after clicking the "details" button describe the errors as "invalid argument" and "object does not support this property or method".

Problems with this Web page might prevent it from being displayed properly or functioning properly. In the future, you can display this message by double-clicking the warning icon displayed in the status bar.

The yellow warning icon in the status bar is displayed and comes and goes as i move the mouse across a webpage. It says:
Double-click here or press CTRL + F2 for details

Searching Microsoft's Knowledge Base is only getting me more confused. None of the articles there seem to apply to my situation. Can't seem to find what I need to do. I would be happy if I never saw these errors again for the rest of my life after learning how to get around them. Can you help?

Can you post a link to the site in question? Perhaps it is bad Javascript coding and nothing wrong on your end at all.

The problem has gone away.. Not sure what solved it but may have been missing one of the following DLL files in the windows\system directory:.
    RB32.DLL
    COMCTLIE.DLL
    COMCTL!16.DLL
    SECURITY.DLL
    WIN16X.DLL

This problem is back. It occurrs at the following site.
The problem reappeared when I changed some of Internet Explorer Settings:
    VM logging enabled
    Enable scripts
    Enable java
