Yesterday i tried to use the PSU on another computer and it worked fine..
When i get home today i will try unplug the power switch connector to the Mobo.

i unplugged the 24pin to the motherboard and tried to turn it on.

So all i have to unplug is the 24pin connector on the motherboard and the 4pin to the CPU? And leave the rest as is?
Then turn the PS on and start up the computer?

Don't worry, when you uninstall the older driver you can still see pictures.
After your done uninstalling, place the 6600GT in and go to nvidia site to get the lastest driver.

check if everything is firmly seated, especially the video card.
make sure the cable you connected from the monitor to the video card is connected firmly.
if you have another monitor, test it...

I'll say yes, 6800 needs at least 350Watts
