i unplugged the 24pin to the motherboard and tried to turn it on.

And the PSU doesnt turn on.

So all i have to unplug is the 24pin connector on the motherboard and the 4pin to the CPU? And leave the rest as is?

Then turn the PS on and start up the computer?

well... the only way i can get the computer to start is to switch the PS button to "off" then to "on" Then press the button to start the computer. wierd... =\

I checked on Everest and it reads:

Voltage Values:
CPU Core 1.39 V
CPU Aux 2.64 V
+3.3 V ...

Do you know what are the ideal voltage output for the +5v, +12v +3.3v -12v
so i can check in everest and see if there is anything wrong.

Don't worry, when you uninstall the older driver you can still see pictures.

After your done uninstalling, place the 6600GT in and go to nvidia site to get the lastest driver.

btw, what are your system spec.?

check if everything is firmly seated, especially the video card.

make sure the cable you connected from the monitor to the video card is connected firmly.

if you have another monitor, test it...
