According to the Setup guide, it's 123.hp.com, NOT HP123.com. Just enter "DESKJET 2742e" and follow the prompts.

If you have a Western Digital drive, then run the WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostics.

Hmm, that's weird. I tested it out on my 7-Zip File Manager shortcut in the Start Menu. It doesn't allow me to create a shortcut in the folder, but I can copy it from the Desktop.
