That is very odd. Once you install the drivers, it shouldn't prompt you again. Unless there is an option on the phone itself about installing drivers? Or maybe it's an issue with that Sidesync...

Instead of trying to install the Samsung drivers via Windows Update, try installing it manually.

Correct. It creates a shortcut to Windows Explorer, not directly to the J drive. You'd have to do a right-click first.
To create a direct link to J, putting a link in the Quick Launch bar works.

It sounds like you are trying to create a Quick Launch bar. Pinning is not the same thing. If you right-click on the pinned Windows Explorer, you should see the J: drive listed. If you just click on...

Ok, that's not the type of caddy I was thinking of. It sounds like you have more of a USB dock.
I'm not sure why it's so difficult for you either. Make sure to disconnect any other hard drives,...

Hmm, that's really strange.
"All Mail" is still there. You probably have to hit the "More" to see it.
The point of trying another browser is to see if Chrome is the problem or not.

It sounds like the MBR got messed up. maybe something happened when you swapped XP and Win7.
When you did the restore, did you also restore the MBR?
Is the "caddie" an internal swappable drive?...

You can either have 4 primary partitions OR 3 primaries and 1 extended. The extended partition would then be broken into logical partitions.
In your case, you would need to make 3 primary...

Don't partition the new drive before you clone over the OS. Just leave some unallocated space, and create new partitions in Windows Disk Management.
If you clone the OS drive to the new drive,...
