To prevent static ele discharge during install on my new graphics card
I had to order a replacement graphics card for my PC at work.
First off the company that shipped the new card to me placed it wrapped up in bubble wrap and not in an anti-static bag. I hope there won't be any issues.
I don't have a wrist band to use while I change my graphics card so there is no chance of shorting the circuit board.
I will be placing the card on a wooden table. sitting in my office chair. the floor has carpeting. How do I make sure I discharge any static electricity from myself prior to opening the package the card came in and placing it into my PC.
Thanks!!
