I don't think my message specified which disk needs to be reconnected but none of them had been disconnected.
Is this another way of saying I've got a bad disk?

Are you actually using File History to backup files?
Do you have a drive that is set to power off when not in use in Power Management? Note that this could also be due to a USB drive connected to a USB controller that is set to power off when not in use.

No, SyncToy.
I'll check the disk settings.
If you are NOT using File History, you can go into the settings and turn it off.

And I will. Could it be giving me a disconnect error when a different disk disconnected?
It could be any disk that File History has been set to access, source or destination.
