Kill driver signing
I have an installation of Win 7 on Rog Strix - which is not supported. I can't boot to it because the installation has 3.1 USB drivers that are not signed.
There is a rescue screen where you can turn off driver signing but I don't know how to get to it - a key to get to it may not exist because the OS isn't supported on this hardware.
My question is, how can I get to that screen, or, how can I talk to that installation and disable signing via cmd?
(The win 7 intallation is part of a 10/7 dual boot).
Thanks - rev

The problem with both those methods is you need to be booted into that OS and I can't get in.

The methods do work from Recovery Mode. You need bootable recovery media for the Windows 7 system, boot from that, then they should work.

Have you tried the Advanced Boot Options to get Windows to boot?

How did you manage to get unsigned drivers installed in the first place? You should have gotten an error message when you tried to install them.

If you can get your Windows 7 OS working again, your best bet is to not install drivers for the motherboard USB ports. Instead, get an add-in USB port card that does have Windows 7 drivers.
