DDR4 question
Two pics, one is the summary from RAMmon and the other is the closest fit I could find on Amazon.
How important are the differences?
* I'm told they should have the same CAS latency (13.750) but Amazon doesn't show the CAS latency
* or whether it's ECC
* or whether it's registered or not.

Most desktop RAM is non-ECC and unregistered. You'd see ECC Registered RAM more in servers.
If you have RAM with a higher CAS rating (slower), then ALL the RAM will run at the slowest timings.

Yeah, but there will be more of it :)
So do you think that Amazon offering would be OK? I've also written to ripjaws.
(I bet I don't notice the slightest difference for the extra 32)

Here is a link that has the specs:

It will probably work fine. As to whether it will improve performance, that will depend on what software you are running that might need to use it. You should also be able to check the Memory Compatibility List from the motherboard manufacturer's web site to see if it is on their list. It may still work even if it is not, but the manufacturer would not guarantee it.
