[RESOLVED] UEFI (GPT) vs Legacy Mode (MBR)
I have a bootable USB drive with Acronis True Image which I have been using for years now. It works fine on my desktop PC.
Over the weekend, I bought a LG Gram laptop and I realized that the UEFI is a replacement for BIOS. After disabling UEFI, I was able to install Windows.
On the other hand, the bootable USB drive with Acronis gives me a 3 choices which in the past, was an Acronis Menu.
I have tried to recreate Acronis image to the USB with RUFUS as GPT. When I boot up with it, stills give me 3 choices which when I select choice 1 (Acronis True Image 64 bit), it goes into a blank screen.
Anyone know what am I missing? For UEFI, do I need to add WinPE or something like that? I am not sure what that is and where to download it.
Here is during the bootup:
Starting x64 UEFI Loader (v.1.1
Select an item by using the keyboard:
1. Acronis True Image (64-bit)
2. Acronis System Report (64-bit)
c. Continue Booting
