[RESOLVED] I might need help
Several days ago I joined Google G+ in order to post to a thread. Google basically would not let me do anything else until I started setting up circles. I would close it and go to a different website and the darn set up circles screen kept popping up. I did not think this was right. It was interferring with my pioneer trail game at face book. I get job announcements from EmployMe QC.com and a lot of them are for work at home scams. Then I got a email from my girlfriend in Texas saying I should check this one out. Lo and behold it was for the work at home scam. I know there is a work at home out there but if it says 87,000 a year income possible I know thaat it is not legitimate. I did click what she sent and the thing did not want to close, When I did get it to close, I went back to gmail and sent off an email to my girl friend that it was a scam and why. The next day she sent another one and so I sent an email to her again saying it was a scam. She sent back an email and said she did not send it. She though somone had gotten in her email and was sending it because all of her contacts were getting it. I sent her another email telling her that it was a virus or worm and in view of some of the strange things happening on my computer I thougt I might have become infected with something also. The email I sent back to her was bounced by the mailer daemon. It seems to me that is a good sign of infection. I have windows firewall on and microsoft security essentials as well as I run malware bytes all the time. I also use the Microsoft Support Emergency Resonse Tool off and on. Like every 10 days . Nothing was found so I thought it is getting through the holes. I read about the superantispyware portable scanner so I downloaded it. I definately clicked the one that said home version. It d/l and when I started it I discovered it also installed google chrome and it had d/l the professional trial version. Ran it anyway and it said I had 60 tracking cookies and PUP.bProtector whatever that is. I click for it to clean it and it looks like it did. But from some other stuff I read maybe it didn't. Here is the mbam log I just ran.....
