What does the pop up message say;)
this all about autotunning stuff .
this all strated since i play wit asus [ai-suite and all what come with .auto tune .etc.etc .
Find the Autotune program in Control Panel>programs and Features, and uninstall it. You don't need any of that junk they insist on bundling with new PCs.
There is an entry there called "Auto Tuning" That's the one I'd uninstall.
no they just will not uninstall .
i will copy a picture of what i get when i click on uninstall .
sorry i mist some word .there is 4 of them come with ai-siute
Reinstall them, then try uninstalling.
thank .i cant not even do that .
i try for one month to get all these auto tuning working .what ever you call them all .never did get them to work properly .
all i could do is oc my ram to 6-6-6-18 from 7-7-7-21 .that was it .all the rest of them every time i try to use them i was getting a error ..
well maybe you saw all the asus auto tunning before .if you did you know what i am saying ..
now when you install ai-suite you have a full page of all the text .what ever you call it .so i had to create a new folder and put them all in there .then when i saw that i could not get them to work i deleted the folder in the recycle bin even then i had a hell of time to delete then .why i just don't know.yes i just did check the recycle bin and all my auto tunning folders are there .
Use regedit to search the registry for ASACPI.DLL to see where it is supposed ot be. Then, search for that file on your hard drive or install CD and put a copy where it is supposed to be, then see what happens.
i thank you very much .but i cant not do that .
i am not good enuff to know how to do that .
how do you get to the registry
the only i do some like that i have to get the right word then copy and paste it
Download and install the latest version 2.0.4 of Hijackthis
http://free.antivirus.com/hijackthis/
(not the beta version)
then run it.. when it's finished click "save log" and let us see the logfile it gives you when it finishes. You can copy/paste the info into this thread. Using that we might be able to stop the program that's causing the popup from running.
Do NOT check any of the items in the hijackthis window until we give you specific instructions.. removing the wrong item(s) can cause serious problems.
i will later .right i have some to do urgent .
Copy/paste for those that don't want to open the logfile..

Run hijackthis again and put a check beside this item only..
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Auto Tuning] "C:\Users\yvesj\Desktop\all my pictures\AutoTuning.exe" -b
and let hijackthis "fix" it. Keep the backup it makes. Then reboot to see if it solved the problem.

i did click on fix selected after i check it .
but it did not take away .i did reboot and the same pop up came up again .

Click Start, and in the search box type msconfig.exe. Then in the Startup tab, see if there is an entry for Auto Tune - if there is then uncheck it.
