You should go to the nvidia drivers site and download the current set for your OS.

Windows will have some drivers built-in, but they are fairly basic. As Midknyte says, the best thing to do is to download the latest drivers, then you will get the best out of the new card :)
so i will not use the cd driver that come with it right .
yes i did check the link for the new up date driver .
i hope that all the rest of the parts are all good .
i did not had a problem with the one i build 5 weeks ago .
but the mobo had the build in onboard video in it .
not this one .when i choose the board i did see that blue moniter plug in .but when i receive the board it was not the monitor plug in .it is a com1 9 pins male .what a big surprise .i did check all the mobo and about 85% of the board do not come with a onboard video in .
if i ever buy a other board i will make sure that it as a onboard video .maybe after new year i build one more .but it will be a ddr2 because you get a lot more speed with ddr2
you could buy ram with 4-4-4-15 this is fast
The drivers on the supplied CD are invariably out of date, it's better to get the latest ones if you can.
Now that more and more CPUs are being made with built-in graphics, in future you will probably be finding a lot more motherboards with monitor outputs on them.
ok .now you know that is a brand new pc .nothing in yet .
so the first thing i do is connect my monitor right .then how do i get the your site to get the new driver with out having the os in [vista].do i have really put the driver in right away or cant i do it after i install vista .
if you check all board there is not that many with them in .
so if buy a budget board at about 80.00 and if you take the cost of the video cart that board it costing a lot .that will put you up to about 140.00 for it
Do NOT get hung up on the 4-4-4-15 bit of DDR2.
Anything over DDR3-1600, 9-9-9-24, is faster even with the latency being as high as they are.

this is not what i was reading about speed
i did read for about one month on it .
so why are they saying that fron 1066 to 1600 you do not even see it .maybe on benchmark but by eye
so i figure that if i go lower on 1066 i will get better speed .
well am french so maybe am not reading it right .
and even from 1066 to 1866 or what ever there hardly no difference
with this pc now that am using [ddr2] it is 5-5-5-15-24.
and it is really fast

but it is not as fast as my other one ddr2 .
that it because of the ram .
the ram in my ddr 2 are speed .

am having a small problem .
i am trying to download xp 2 but i get this answer that i have to install xp 1 first but i did install it with the 126 update that i had to install .
i did check program and feature and it is on the list .
so is there a way to download xp 2 .
by the way i burn my new power supply this morning .one of my fan cut one of the wire and it short it

in the window installed up date .if it not install why is it showing in the installed update

now i am on my other pc .i have to because i did not set up my email yet on the other one ..
last nite i did check what was download and xp 1 and xp 2 are downloaded .so now all i have to do is the xp 3 right .
