Soccer is a boring game to watch. (IMO) Not enough action or scoring. :)
I follow the world cup pretty closely but it's a bit of a chore this year
with the damn vuvuzelas...it's like having your head stuck in a hornets nest.
They banned another noisemaker called a kuduzela before the games even started... can't imagine how much worse that would be.

It has been a great racing season.. the Montreal GP was terrific.

I'm not a big follower of any televised sport, but I have watched the occasional game from this series of the World Cup, and thoroughly enjoyed them all.
However I will concede that the sentiments expressed in this thread are not uncommon. I have seen soccer described a boring elsewhere. I find this amazing, it is far from boring. It is a marvelous game full of tactics and skill. All I can assume is that those who describe it as boring either do not understand the game or suffer from ADHD. :D

Works, too. I was watching Pebble beach last night, and I never watch golf. Somehow, after this WC it didn't seem quite as lethally boring.

I see the US is playing the last of it's initial 3 games today, with two draws under it's belt there is a possibility of going further in the competition. Good Luck USA.
US needs to win the game, or they'll go through even with a draw, if England do NOT win its game.
