Hickory Tickory Tock
Two mice ran up the clock
The clock struck one
And the other got away with minor injuries
What happened to the mouse that was struck? James
Me thinks he got wupped so bad, he never came back.
Wupped good!
If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted at a very last resort,
and the access of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report.
Stop sir, stop sir, mr oldhermit sir.
I can't talk such blibber blubber, my tounge is not made of rubber.
Not bad, Nix.
I didn't write these.
It's an email going 'round...
When the copy on your floppy's getting sloppy in the disk,
and the macro code instructions is causing unnecessary risk,
then you'll have to flash the memory and you'll want to RAM your ROM,
and then quickly turn off the computer and be sure to tell your Mom!
Well, one you fix the double RR's bug, it'll be good as new :)
RReally!
And how pray tell do you propose to fix the dreaded double rrs? James
What double RRRRs?
Doesn't look like there is a problem and got nice comments too. Thanks and will pull on Thursday 2-17 if no one has anyobjections or further inputs. :D :D
Fox In Sox vs Shakespeare
Fox In Sox Rap
Of course my original quote came from Dr Seuss
and look towards then middle and end of this http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip...e/DrSeuss.html
BINGO!!!
YOUR ONLY OLD ONCE by Dr. Seuss.
Amazing Nix! You are an expert on Dr. Seuss!
Well Google helped a bit....Quote:

Actually I pumped in blibber blubber and got all these hits for the first chewing gum that was ever invented.
Apparently it was so sticky you needed to use white spirit to scrub it off your skin.
Any way then I just added Fox to the mix and found lots of links.
So...
Blibber Blubber it sticks
With a Fox it can mix
to give Seuss links to Nix
Quicks.
And finallyFrom Dr Seuss ABC.Quote:
X is Very useful if your name is Nixie Nox It also comes in handy spelling ax and extra fox.
The proper pronounciation of GOOGLE:
Like YO-OOO-DLE!
GOO-OOO-GLE!
hehe...
I've been pronouncing Google wrong all these years, does that mean that my results have been skewed? James :D
Only if you include MICROSOFT in every search...
:D !Greengoose, great working be to seems It
Or/rO
D: !esoogneerG, taerg gnikrow eb ot smees tI
Thank god that I'm safe then, 'cause I NEVER include Micro$oft in anything! James :D
Oh! My apologies.
I neglected to include the entire statement.
It should read:
Only if you include MICROSOFT in every search...like I do...
In that case, my statement still stands! James :D
Are we supposed to be testing something?
jslater25, have you read the whole post? James :D
Maybe just lock as there is some amusing stuff in here.Quote:

Just couldn't help myself. My most favorite via Mary Poppins:
SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPEALIDOTIOUS<><><><>
Gee,,it 'did' fit on only one line!! :D :p
At least you can spell it. I can say it but never would try to spell it out. I know it would be wrong. Don't remember all the words to the song though. :D
Um diddle diddle diddle um diddle ay
Um diddle diddle diddle um diddle ay
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Even though the sound of it
Is something quite atrocious
If you say it loud enough
You'll always sound precocious
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Um diddle diddle diddle um diddle ay
Um diddle diddle diddle um diddle ay
Because I was afraid to speak
When I was just a lad
My father gave me nose a tweak
And told me I was bad
But then one day I learned a word
That saved me aching nose
The biggest word I ever heard
And this is how it goes:
Oh, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Even though the sound of it
Is something quite atrocious
If you say it loud enough
You'll always sound precocious
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Um diddle diddle diddle um diddle ay
Um diddle diddle diddle um diddle ay
So when the cat has got your tongue
There's no need for dismay
Just summon up this word
And then you've got a lot to say
But better use it carefully
Or it may change your life
One night I said it to me girl
And now me girl's my wife!
She's supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
OldHermit, you almost got me singing this to a tune of Gilbert & Sullivan (HMS Pinafore, "I Am the Very Model of a Modern Major General"):

and the bus is interrupted at a very last resort,
and the access of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report
When the copy on your floppy's getting sloppy in the disk,

Yeah, Nix! I remember Nixie Nox -- many times (too many) reading to my boy). Oh right, BTW, he was born on Dr. Seuss' birthday (March 2) -- which has always seemed to fit him.
Cheers
:D
Wendy
We'll have to remember that in just under 2 weeks time.Quote:

Have to loosen up and get crazy every now and then.
Otherwise you begin to take on the resemblence of me.
After a life of hard knocks, and I'm only 25!
That can't be you! My mother is 84 and she don't look like that! James :D
Well James,
All I can say is that there are times when we just have to Face the Music...
Yep, so you say, but that's kind of brutal! James :D
oldhermit, You don't look a day over 24??? ha ha ha !

" THE OLDHERMIT"
24 what? Centuries? James :D
Thanks for all the compliments.
With my good looks and a dollar, I can get a free cup of coffee anywhere!
At my age it takes my good looks and a gun and way more than a dollar! James :D
