Operation Delta 13
Operation Delta 13 now starts where we find the building of one computer (if not more) continues. There are now several efforts at building and major upgrades going on with some other inquiries on how to. In something like a little over two months the effort has been successful for those involved. We continue our project lots of help from VirDr members. Click here for Operetion Delta 12.

If thou seekest to build thyself a new system, first obtain a case...for without it, all the pieces shall falleth to the ground and be rendered useless and void.

Mosaic has been very busy and the eyes are probably very tired, and to give her a break, I will see if she will be my buyer with her plastic. (This is not an original idea as you know.) https://discussions.virtualdr.com/ https://discussions.virtualdr.com/
Mosaic, I have had roughly the same thought about us. A sermon from the .....? https://discussions.virtualdr.com/ Later.

I promised you guys some benchmark results on that Prophet II MX card, but having a couple of glitches with the program. Need to make a couple of changes in the BIOS tonight; preliminary results are that the MX card is beating the pants off the (original) Viper 770.
QOH: In the meantime, take some pics of the new case...send them to family and friends...make a Christmas postcard maybe... https://discussions.virtualdr.com/ Patience, my dear, patience... https://discussions.virtualdr.com/

Finished with benchmarking: Viper 770 =2225, ProphetII MX= 2548. Now this brings up an important point that I was not aware of before. First place, those scores are way too low for the Prophet II as far as i can tell. Found out that my board is NOT "AGP 2.0 compliant" (nothing to do with ps compliancy). To use the Prophet II MX, your board has to be AGP 2.0 compliant, or the vid card will not do as well as it could. Checking the Abit 133-RAID, but as yet found no info as to whether it has this compliancy or not. (v. 1.0 or 2.0?). Don't get me wrong, the card works on my system, but not as well as it could. tried out a 3d intensive game with it--looks good, but could be better (still better than the old card). I know Gigabyte makes boards with this compliancy--will check them out (and could use help in checking out the Abit board).

Good morning! Still working the issue--not a real "biggie", but just curious. Greengoose: first link is interesting--that's what i have, the Soyo 6BA +IV; interesting comparisons. Got a gut feeling there's a setting or dinky program way in the background doing this https://discussions.virtualdr.com/--I shall seek diligently. https://discussions.virtualdr.com/
