I installed Windows 7 Pro but,
I don't have the graphic accelerator for it.
Tshiba do not support Windows 7 for this model at all.
I've searched all over the Web but I've had no luck in locating it.
I hope you can help me in finding it.

I'm guessing that model has a Nvidia Geforce Go 6600 or 6200 from looking at the XP driver .inf.

That laptop is really underpowered for Win7. I hope you at least upgraded the ram.

You didn't say 32 or 64 bit, but I figured 32-bit because of the laptop specs.

The drivers that you suggested didn't do it,
I'll search a little more and if no luck, I'll revert back to Win xp (I've a Image of it)

Did you confirm that you have an Nvidia Go 6200 or 6600?
Did you remove video card from Device Manager and allow Windows to redetect it after you installed the drivers?
Did you try drivers from Windows Update?
That system is pretty old, so even if Windows 7 installs ok, it'll run slow. 1.5GB RAM is still on the low side for Win7.

meaning it did not install at ALL!
I did what you suggested DM didn't say anything info at all.
one need to install the driver for DM to tell you what you have in details.
what I don't understand is most of my compdressed films are playing just fine,
and that's without any codecs installed.

You should have said the drivers didn't install at all. I thought you meant they installed but didn't work with your hardware.Quote:

Did you extract the folder and then run the \Guru3D.com\Setup\Vista_Win7_x86\setup.exe?
Are you running Win7 32-bit or 64-bit?
If the drivers didn't install, then removing/redetecting the video card wouldn't have helped.
You should be able to use GPUz to find out the video card details.

After more digging on the Toshiba site, it looks like your laptop has Intel GMA900 video (915GM chipset). Not sure why they listed nvidia drivers on the support site for your laptop.

If that's the case, then you're out of luck. Intel isn't releasing official Win7 video drivers for the 915GM.

You can try the Intel Graphics Update Utility to see if a generic driver could work, but that's the last straw.Quote:
